Hello, here is a little update on my life at the moment:

Dean and I had a kitten for one day, then we had to give her back. 

We saw an Albino squirrel in the Company Gardens

Me hanging outside on the balcony (im good at making puns tonight)

Sneak Peak - Zana Products

Guess what, such exciting news, my mom and I are launching a home decor line through Etsy! I have been playing around with Etsy for some time now and been selling some vinyls and prints. Its such a rad platform to build an online store with a real identity. Plus you can avoid dealing directly face to face with customers as well as not having the overheads of a real store. Not to mention the global audience.


We are starting off with cute minimalist typographic and some other design throw cushions. We are also going to offer prints of these designs for your home! So exciting right? We hope to one day create jobs for African woman who have families to support, that has been my mom's dream for many years and we are taking this on together!


My mom has been in the print industry for years and she is such a light when it comes to how to make / print things, or even what materials to use. She seems to know everything and have an endless bag of tricks.

right: two posters taken from the Design Times newspaper that I bought at the Design Indaba. Very cool and inspirational newspapers full of cool shit to say the least. Plus they make your walls look nice when you done reading them!

A vintage racket (top) from the milnerton market a few moons ago and (bottom) my baby tree on my balcony. I just wrote on his black plastic pot with some chalk! Pretty cute and easy- give your plants a voice (- haha THE lamest thing ive ever said, I know) but still, do it!

Sorry about the long pause, Ive just completed a 4 week group brief for college and as you can imagine it was a nightmare of note. Long days & then long nights of me catching up on personal work. wah!

A little snippet of what we were doing. Rebrand and campiagn launch for myog, a lovely little frozen yogurt store on Kloof Street Cape Town.

Im not much of a photographer but today Nikki and I were scouting locations for our college project. We drove around woodstock for a bit trying to find a beautiful house/shop front to film. We decided on the very bottom house. Beauty isnt it? Check out the pics I snapped along the way!

The Goddess Guide

My lovely friend Britney shared this with me and I was so excited to share it on! Since we where in primary school we have both LOVED finding bits and bobs and filling our "homework" diary with dreams and creative doodles about fashion, bffs, boys, life and love. Loving:

- virgin active wembly because of the personal trainers - eye candy.

- making prints and putting them up all over my flat.

- last year of student living.

- my dreams of NYC.

Hating:

- having no money at the moment.

- having to deal with the fact that I cant buy everything i want.

- being a student because i have no money.

- bugs, in my flat, yes gross ones.
