Lady Gaga is Coming to SOUTH AFRICA - It's Official!

PAWS UP little monsters, its official!
Big Concerts confirmed the news this morning, saying the Born This Way tour is coming to SA & will be happening in Johannesburg (30 November at Soccer City) and Cape Town (3 December at Cape Town Stadium).
Tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow on Computicket's website. Computicket outlets will start selling tickets from Thursday June 21. - Personal note (beg, borrow and steal due to my student financial crisis)
Seated tickets start at R315 and all standing tickets R715. They will be available tomorrow  at www.computicket.com
Speculation was flying around, and I  have received the odd "Gaga is coming" whatsapp message in the past and would often break out in dance and play the entire Gaga album and throw my hair around like the real little monster I am. Then I would hear nothing else about it from any credible sources, and after searching the internet for proof and finding nothing, learnt not to get my hopes us.
But Mother Monster is coming and THIS is one of the best days of my life so far & I CANNOT explain my joy!

Side note:
Me attempting to channel my inner Gaga for Halloween this year, or as it is otherwise known Gagaween:

A flat update from Hazlemere

left: little dangly thing I made out of drift wood and glass and some brown rope.
right: two posters taken from the Design Times newspaper that I bought at the Design Indaba. Very cool and inspirational newspapers full of cool shit to say the least. Plus they make your walls look nice when you done reading them!

A vintage racket (top) from the milnerton market a few moons ago and (bottom) my baby tree on my balcony. I just wrote on his black plastic pot with some chalk! Pretty cute and easy- give your plants a voice (- haha THE lamest thing ive ever said, I know) but still, do it!

Great news for fashion In South Africa// ZARA IS HERE!

The Gods of fashion have finally shone down upon us! Zara opened their doors today, in their first store in South Africa. JHB obviously gets all the cool things (except the beautiful turqouise waters and magestic mountain of the Cape.)

- Im HOPING (&praying 100x a day) that Zara extends its reach to Cape Town.

Wether you like Zara or not, this is amazing news for all fashionistas. I havent been this excited in years, this is a great sign of things to come for our country with regards to international fashion giants. They have such elegant pieces and Im leaning more towards the Zara at the moment. H&M can be left the love of my teenage years with all their more trendy gear.

I obviously stalked their website while avoiding work. Check out some of the clothes I am DYING to own:

Totes stunning right? I KNOW!
CANNOT WAIT - Fashion lover freakout of note.
Even Kate Middleton wears Zara! I mean, this speaks for itself!

Seapoint Run Around

Dean and I ended up in Seapoint this evening to avoid the dreaded traffic from town back to our suburban hell hole. I treated us to our favourite at Primi (we always get the same meal) Nepoletana for me and Aribiatta for baby.

Dean then obviously mocking me for the way I pose in photos.

We then walked down to the beach, ran around and had some fun just as the sun went down

+ some lovely shots dean took while I stood with my fingers crossed that he would'nt drop my iPhone into the ocean.
