Rachel Zoe makes amazing clothes that I would sell my tiny soul for.

  I love her,  I am also a short little human who wears maxi skirts/dresses & oversized jackets 24/7. Her show The Rachel Zoe Project gives us fashion junkies a little fix and a peek into the REAL world of glam and fashion as she jets off to runway shows and meets with only the best designers. Not to mention the glimses of her cupboard that you get to see. CRAZY - She has vintage Valentino and you name it. Every girl's heaven!

My lovely friend Britney shared this with me and I was so excited to share it on! Since we where in primary school we have both LOVED finding bits and bobs and filling our "homework" diary with dreams and creative doodles about fashion, bffs, boys, life and love. Mk & A Olsen sign François Kress as CEO of The Row

 Incase you didnt know, I love The Row, the lux clothing brand designed by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Just a tid bit of new info - they recently signed François Kress as the President and CEO of The Row, a new position they created in the brand for him. He is the former CEO of Prada.

"He quickly became the obvious choice for us and for the brand, having experience in multiple categories which we feel is essential for growth of The Row," Mary-Kate explained.

"His experience and sensibility will add great value to The Row in its next phase of development," Ashley Olsen told WWD.

Check out blow how I changed up this eye-sore CRAZY dress into a high waisted skirt which is way more practical. Im a student, I cant afford to buy new things all the time, so its nice to take what you have and change it up so it is wearable.


Who knows what went through my mind when I decided to purchase this dress a few months back, maybe it was the dark changing room of china town that made me a little(lot) visually impaired. I have all the clothes I need to reinvent stacked up on the crafty table in my flat and this one caught my eye first (how could it not?). I thought to myself, that dress would be great if it was in half - half as many chevron stripes. 

So I cut the top off leaving a little flap on the top to frill over. Cute aint it? I paired it with a white vest and a waist belt for a way cuter summer look. This will be worn to college in the future. AH, I love a little clothing rebirth.

Turning unwanted into wanted - closet edition

So, I got this dress from Valley Girl when I was on holiday in Australia about 3 years ago. I think i've never left the house wearing it, not once. I think every girl has those items they make an impulse buy on and think I could SO wear this, and then never do! I have more than one.

I know what you're thinking. not so bad and still a cute dress, yes it is. I mean, I did buy it! My style has changed over the years and i'd say I dress alot more dark & oversized. My boyfriend calls my style "granny" - but what does he know about fashion. pppshhht! I dress evening during the day and black is my go-to colour.

 This is the after result, I layered it over a black maxi dress (my staple item) and layered some chains (which seem to be doing their own thing in this pic). The edges are rough still, but I love it! Its nice to have those detailed vests to slip over dresses and tops you wear over and over.

I love it, nice to have another item in my closet that is recycled, instead of just given to charity and then complaining I have nothing to wear. I have more old garments to snip up, check again soon! xox

MK & Ashley Olsen spotted at JC Penny Launch as well as a MK street style (out in NYC living the glam life likeits no ones business). Obsessed. They are both sporting bags from The Row and im loving MK's stocking looks - im a stockings girl to the max! check out the pics below!

Great news for fashion In South Africa// ZARA IS HERE!

 The Gods of fashion have finally shone down upon us! Zara opened their doors today, in their first store in South Africa. JHB obviously gets all the cool things (except the beautiful turqouise waters and magestic mountain of the Cape.)

- Im HOPING (&praying 100x a day) that Zara extends its reach to Cape Town.

Wether you like Zara or not, this is amazing news for all fashionistas. I havent been this excited in years, this is a great sign of things to come for our country with regards to international fashion giants. They have such elegant pieces and Im leaning more towards the Zara at the moment. H&M can be left the love of my teenage years with all their more trendy gear.

I obviously stalked their website while avoiding work. Check out some of the clothes I am DYING to own:

Brazilian Woolworths sexy knickers to die for!

So I went shopping with my mom the other day at Woolies and she wanted some new underwear. Obviously I picked out the things I wanted and convinced her with many sob stories of how much I really really need them. 

Plan worked and I went home with some goodies. One im absolutely IN LOVE with! I bought a pack of 3 lace edged brazilian panties. For like R100 if I remeber correctly.

The pictures below arent the exact pair but very similar in shape. With 3 different gorgeous prints and the softest cotton ever. I dont know about anyone else but I like cotton underwear, nylon is nice for sexy times but what happens when practical day merges with sexy and then you screwed. I like the two to meet and have comfort and a little bit of sexy. The brazilian cut & lace totally give these the sexy edge in my opinion. Hot pants are so last week for me and im all systems go with these.

Now, go buy yourself some, so you can be as happy as me.
