Estée Lauder called me up and asked me to meet for a counter experience at the V&A branch in Edgars. I was so nervous, not knowing what to expect.
But it was such a delightful experience and I learnt SO much from it about skin care, all the things i've wanted to know.
Sue, Estée Lauder's senior skincare professional at the V&A helped me by pointing out all the Estée Lauder products that I should use for my skin type. Sue was amazing, kind and knew exactly what could help me. Plus my mom's name is Sue, so I felt right at home. My skin type is very sensitive, im fair and my skin gets dry very easily, so I should focus on using skin care products that are not too "active" according to Sue. If I use a harsh face wash I end up with tight skin and this can lead to me having blotches of dry skin and flakiness (gross I know). So you can imagine everything Sue told me was like gold to my ears. Im also prone to having dark circles under my eyes and redness (which stands out like no one's business becuase im so fair.)
I will share the tips and products I learned in the next post, if you struggle with similar skincare issues, im sure it will be greatly helpful! I will also talk about Estée Lauder's Idealist - "Even skintone illuminator which fights discolourations, sun spots, dark spots, blotchiness, redness and traces of acne." Im sure EVERY girl has that bad skin day and tries many witch doctor forms of curing that giant red spot that wont get ANY lighter. I will be tested and chatting about this product which I can say im very excited about!
When I got home I asked dean to snap a few pics of me with the info pages and personal skincare analysis form that Sue gave me. As you can see the photoshoot got a little bit crazy! haha
Congrats on being chosen as one of the 10 finalists. :)
